Chuck Thompson
POST GRAD HEAD COACH
Coach Chuck Thompson is a graduate of perennial state basketball champion Eleanor Roosevelt in Prince George's County, Maryland where he earned a basketball scholarship to attend the historic Barber-Scotia College. Coach Chuck began his coaching career with the Greenbelt Boys and Girls Club in his home community.
After becoming the owner and coaching the professional Tri-City Suns of the American Basketball Association (ABA), Coach Chuck started his mission of developing young men by coaching high school basketball at the legendary National Christian Academy and Capitol Christian Academies in Maryland.
In 2018-2019, he was named the Head Men's basketball coach at his alma mater, Barber-Scotia College in Concord, North Carolina. Following a successful collegiate season, the basketball program was disbanded and Coach Chuck returned to high school for four seasons where he has helped over 30 young men earn college scholarships ; including coaching this past season at the North Carolina Good Better Best Basketball program in Raleigh, North Carolina.
